Dunmow Art Group’s Autumn Art Exhibition & Sale will take place in St Mary’s Church on the weekend of October 5 and 6

Divine works in a variety of styles will be on show when Dunmow Art Group holds an exhibition in St Mary’s Church in the town.

The Autumn Art Exhibition & Sale will take place over the weekend of October 5 and 6, from 10am to 4pm on the Saturday and 1pm to 4pm on the Sunday.

Entry is free and there will be refreshments and a raffle.

Audrey McNeill, chair of Dunmow Art Group, said: “St Mary’s in Great Dunmow is a beautiful, light-filled space in which to showcase our members’ work.

“It’s always a fun weekend, and we’re looking forward to displaying a wide range of works from our members.”

Works in styles from original oil paintings, acrylics and watercolours to collages, mixed media, ceramics, prints, textiles and cards will be for sale. A sample of work by members of a local photography group will also be on show.

Dunmow Art Group has a long history of supporting artists and art lovers in the area, and has a regular programme of weekly art meetings and monthly visiting artists and workshops.
