Bishop’s Stortford Acoustic Club’s first 6 Act x 4 Song show of the year at South Mill Arts on Thursday February 1
Bishop’s Stortford Acoustic Club’s first 6 Act x 4 Song show of the year takes place at South Mill Arts on Thursday February 1.
The diverse line-up includes acoustic club debutant Guy Pearson, who is a pop-punk artist with a big reputation.
There will be beautiful songs from duo Wild Roses while Vic Lennard is a finger-picking acoustic guitarist who writes and sings great tunes based on his life experiences.
The poignant, expressive and delightfully agile vocals of Faradena will be complemented by thoughtful arrangements for cello, viola, violin, piano and percussion, all played by her, as she gives unique interpretations of traditional folk songs. She is joined by Julian Woods on bass.
Lily Martin, who will be accompanied by Dan Titus, is a tremendous live performer who delivers a jazzy, bluesy sound.
And Titus will also perform alongside Elinor Jackson as the distinctive vocalists are now working together as a duo having appeared solo at the club on numerous occasions.
Doors open at 7.30pm and music starts at 8pm. Entry is £7. Book in advance at southmillarts.co.uk to ensure a seat. There will be the option to pay £7, cash or card, on the door on the night.
