Bishop’s Stortford Acoustic Club is hosting a 6 Act x 4 Song night at South Mill Arts on Thursday February 29.

Taking to the South Road venue’s stage will be Mike Excell, Melanie Quinn, Colin Frid, Ali Cossor, Paul Booth, Si & Verna and Cider at Yours.

Excell is a club favourite whose light-hearted songs reflect his life experiences while Quinn delivers sets full of wit and charm.

Fans can expect an eclectic set, including original songs, from Frid as well as a strong vocal performance from keyboardist Cossor.

Paul Booth, Si & Verna are three superb players who always sound fresh while duo Cider at Yours promise quirky covers with a country slant as well as one or two original tunes.

Doors open at 7.30pm and music starts at 8pm. Entry is £7. Book in advance at southmillarts.co.uk to ensure a seat. There will be the option to pay £7, cash or card, on the door on the night.
