Teddy the pug tries out dog-friendly Lucha Libre and Café Dada in Bishop’s Stortford

Teddy the pug, who is three years old, has lived with his humans, Gabi and Tom, in Bishop’s Stortford since they moved from London two years ago. Follow his adventures in the Indie each month as he explores dog-friendly places in and around the town.

Hello friends! It’s me, Teddy the pug, here to share my latest adventures exploring all the dog-friendly spots in and around Bishop’s Stortford.

What was on the agenda this month? A little bit of everything! I got invited to collab with Lucha Libre, the new Mexican street food vendor at Eat17, visited Café Dada and enjoyed some summer walks through Grange Paddocks.

First, let me tell you about Lucha Libre at Eat17. My pawrents were lucky enough to try their new menu, featuring a quesadilla sharing platter and cheesy fries. They were in food heaven while I tried to snag some cheese tax, but settled for lots of attention and cuddles from the friendly owners.

Next, with the sun shining bright, I made the most of the beautiful weather by strolling through Grange Paddocks. It’s a fantastic spot for dog walking, with plenty of wildlife, greenery and a river for those dogs who love to swim. Personally, I prefer just a good paddle.

After our walk, we headed to Café Dada for brunch and coffee. It’s always exciting to see new dog-friendly cafes popping up in Stortford. Café Dada is a great spot for brunch and for coffee lovers.
