Bishop’s Stortford Acoustic Club is putting on a 6 Act x 4 Song show at South Mill Arts on Thursday April 3.
Taking to the stage at the South Road venue are Colin Frid, James Frid, Cut the Mustard, DnA, Vic Lennard and Karen Macwhinnie & Friends American Trio.
Colin Frid is a regular performer at the club and always has the ability to select the right song at the right time including his wonderful use of open tunings.
Extremely gifted guitarist James Frid also possesses a fine voice and guarantees a polished performance.
Cut the Mustard are Dave Oxley and Martin Kaszak, with the pair specialising in ragtime, blues and all-time good music.
Ali Cossor and Dave Oxley make up DnA and both have lovely, distinctive voices, specialising in close harmonies as they put new life into classics.
Lennard always has a story to tell and his songs reflect his life and experience.
Macwhinnie, who hails from Glasgow, was brought up on country and Americana music and sings songs with a powerful, heartfelt narrative in a voice and style to match. She will be accompanied by Matt Kelly on fiddle and mandolin and Gary Woolley on guitar.
