Pull up a picnic rug to enjoy a free concert featuring film scores and classic orchestral pieces staged by band from Stansted’s twin town of Rungis

A free summer concert and picnic is being staged within the grounds of St John’s Church, Stansted, on Saturday (August 17).

Thanks to Stansted Twinning Association, which organised for the Ensemble Harmonique de Rungis to visit from the French twin town of Rungis, villagers can enjoy a selection of music from the brass and wind band.

The ensemble has performed all over Europe and their repertoire includes film scores, jazz and orchestral pieces.
