Bishop's Stortford Camera Club member Brian Duffy explains his diverse photographic interests...

I have been a member of Bishop's Stortford Camera Club since March 2020, although I have been taking photographs for around 25 years both as a hobby and professionally. Membership of the club has inspired me to try new ideas and genres and to develop my photography and editing skills.

It is a fun and friendly club and has remained very active, despite the restrictions due to Covid-19, through weekly Zoom meetings, photo challenges and competitions.

The members are very helpful and supportive; there is always someone to get advice and guidance from. We hold critique sessions which are especially useful as members provide constructive feedback on each other's images to help improve and inspire.

My photographic interests are quite diverse and, although I will shoot almost everything and anything, my main interests lie in sport, documentary, street portraiture and landscapes. Rather than go for a specific theme, I chose these images as they are some of my personal favourites, have received positive feedback and achieved good results in competitions.

They also reflect my diverse portfolio, more of which can be seen at www.brianduffyphotography.com or via Instagram @brianduffyphoto.
