Pistons at the Park: Motor show extravaganza returns to Thremhall Park at Start Hill, near Bishop's Stortford

LEARN MOREAn eclectic array of hot rods, super cars and classics is promised when Pistons at the Park returns on Sunday (June 27).
The popular showcase of marvellous motors, that has been running twice a year since 2011, is back at Thremhall Park, Start Hill, near Bishop’s Stortford, after it was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic.
The nominated charity for the event is Please Take Me There, which aims to ensure seriously ill children and young adults are not forced to give up on lifesaving medical treatment because the journey to a hospital is too hard or too expensive.
The charity says transport is a hidden challenge facing sick children and their families all over the world. Children living in the East of England statistically travel furthest in the country for treatment, up to a 90-mile round trip on average.
Established in 2014, the charity is working to introduce a free specialised national transport service to solve the transport crisis affecting children and young adults with cancer. They have helped over 5,000 children to date.

Pistons at the Park takes place from 10.30am to 1.30pm and is free to attend. The coffee shop at Thremhall Park will be open for refreshments, breakfast rolls and snacks, and will also be serving food from a barbecue until 1.30pm.
