Bishop's Stortford Art Society holding online exhibition to celebrate its 85th anniversary
We've all had a bit of time to spare lately and I'm sure some of us have taken out the paints again to create a landscape or paint a portrait, maybe an abstract or a collage, dabbled with watercolours or had some fun with inks, writes Bishop's Stortford Art Society's Nick Dittrich.
We've all found ways to be creative in isolation, so this might be the time to consider what to do with your artworks; hide them in a cupboard, or just show them to your family and friends?
There is a better way to nurture your new passion and that's to join your local art society, where you will find like-minded people with a passion for art in all its forms.
The Bishop's Stortford Art Society was going to stage exhibitions this year to celebrate its 85th anniversary, but due to the current restrictions it was agreed to only display the work online, using the newly relaunched website.
If you'd like to join and show your work in the next exhibition, then get in touch by emailing bsasmembers@outlook.com.
The Bishop's Stortford Art Society 85th Anniversary Exhibition is now online at www.stortfordartsociety.co.uk/exhibition-july-2020 where you can view all the artworks for sale.
