Down Hall Hotel set to sparkle as tickets go on sale for its annual fireworks display

It may seem a way off yet, but tickets have gone on sale this week for Down Hall Hotel, Spa and Estate’s annual fireworks display.

The event is usually a sell-out and organisers are urging people to snap up the tickets which go in a flash.

This year’s event will be held within the grounds of the hotel near Hatfield Heath on Sunday November 3 and is one of the venue’s most popular visitor attractions.

The dazzling display is set against a beautiful backdrop of 110 acres of gardens and woodlands. Gates open at 6pm and families are invited to head to the entertainment area where there will be a disco and dedicated face painting station for the little ones before the show begins.

There will also be a range of gourmet BBQ and Italian street food dishes on offer, including beef and veggie burgers; stone-baked pizzas; as well as a selection of pick ‘n’ mix sweets and autumnal toffee apples.

The eagerly anticipated fireworks display will start at 7pm as guests watch bursts of colours erupt across the night sky, alongside some hot drink options to keep warm and cosy, including freshly brewed tea, coffee or an indulgent hot chocolate.

Said a spokesperson: “With a range of ticket options available this year, there will be something for everyone. The VIP Terrace ticket includes a reserved table on the expansive terrace, homemade pizza and fries and a glass of prosecco or beer.

“For those looking to make the most of the occasion, the Elevated Suite View and Room, offers a front row balcony view overlooking the grounds from one of the luxurious 2nd floor suites. Enjoy all the goodies delivered to your room such as pizzas, fries, a bottle of prosecco, soft drinks, sweet treats and a luxury overnight stay priced from £430 per couple (based on two adults sharing), inclusive of breakfast the following morning.

“Or opt to view and stay in one of the hotel’s recently refurbished Estate Patio Bedrooms in the West Wing. Located on the ground floor, enjoy a private pation view of the thrilling display packaged with food and drink priced from £350 per room (based on two adults sharing), inclusive of breakfast. Children are also welcome at a cost of £30pp (up to one child per room).”

General admission is priced at £30 per adult, £20 per child (age 3 – 12) | under 3s free, including a complimentary hot drink (coffee, tea or hot chocolate).
