Get out in the sunshine and sample delicious food and drink to raise money for Grove Cottage at the Festival of Flavour on Sunday (July 8).

The home of Bishop's Stortford Mencap hosts its second food and drink festival at Sworder's Field from 11am to 5pm.

There will be a wide variety of stalls, a bar and live musical performances throughout the day, as well as a chill-out area to sit and enjoy all the sights, sounds and tastes.

Law firm Tees is the festival's main sponsor. Entry for adults costs £4 while children get in for free.

Grove Cottage provides social and educational activities for people of all ages with learning disabilities to develop their potential, avoid social isolation by supporting lifelong friendships and to provide respite for their families.

It costs more than £250,000 a year to run the London Road centre, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2016.

The charity does not receive any funding from Mencap and could not exist without the support of the community.
