The Big Makers Fair at South Mill Arts: Bishop’s Stortford artist and designer Julia Fonnereau among the draws
Bishop’s Stortford artist and designer Julia Fonnereau will be taking part in The Big Makers Fair at South Mill Arts this weekend (November 2-3).
The former Birchwood High School art teacher creates elegant, sophisticated artwork and patterns inspired by her love of plants, animals and observations from her travels and daily life.
Her designs are lovingly applied to a range of products, all handmade sustainably in the UK. She also has a range of quality art prints and recycled greetings cards.
Julia will be showing her work alongside that of a group of talented artisans, crafters and 3D makers, all of whom are members of Herts Visual Arts.
She said: “It will be a great opportunity to support local artists and to find unique, handmade gifts.”
The fair is open 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday. Entry is free.
