The Laughing Bishops Comedy Club hosts award-winning Mike Gunn, Ben Norris and Alan Francis for last show before summer break
A comedy club is promising a hilarious send-off with its final show on Saturday (June 15) before taking a summer break.
Laughing Bishops Comedy Club host Paddy Lennox will welcome three award-winning comedians to the stage at the Water Lane United Reformed Church Hall in Bishop’s Stortford.
The comics in the line-up are described by the club as follows:
London-based comic Ben Norris has been touring steadily for the past two decades, and he’s developed a razor sharp act in the process. With the notable exception of Jason Byrne, it’s hard to think of anyone on the circuit who works an audience with as much skill and flair.
A self-described cynic with a heart of gold, Mike Gunn finds humour in the darkest corners. This award-winning comedian's relatable and quirky observations, laced with his signature dark humour, have audiences in stitches. From overcoming a challenging past to performing internationally, Mike's journey is as entertaining as his act.
With a razor-sharp wit and a knack for finding the funny in the everyday, Alan Francis is a Scottish comedian who's conquered both the stage and the screen. A veteran of the UK comedy circuit, he's a regular on panel shows and has tickled audiences with his stand-up routines for years. Whether it's through clever one-liners, hilarious anecdotes, or his acclaimed theatrical work (including the cult success "Jeffrey Dahmer is Unwell"), Alan's sharp observations and comedic timing are guaranteed to leave you breathless with laughter.
