Dunmow Art Group holding Spring Art Exhibition at Foakes Hall in Great Dunmow on March 15 and 16

Dunmow Art Group is holding its Spring Art Exhibition next month.

Members will be showcasing their work at the Foakes Hall, in Great Dunmow, and entry is free.

The exhibition will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday March 15-16, from 10am to 4pm, following a private viewing on Friday March 14 between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

The group is also welcoming members of Dunmow Photography Club to display their work in the Talberd Room for the duration of the exhibition.

There will be a range of artworks for sale in a broad range of styles, from original oil paintings, acrylics and watercolours to collages, mixed media, ceramics, prints and cards.

Refreshments will be available and there will be a raffle.

“We have a strong membership of artists at Dunmow Art Group so I’m really looking forward to a successful art exhibition that showcases the breadth and diversity of such a broad talent pool,” said chair Audrey McNeill.

Dunmow Art Group has a long history of supporting artists and art lovers in Dunmow and the surrounding area and has a regular programme of weekly art meetings and monthly visiting artists and workshops.
