Stone Valley South organisers postpone festival to 2021
East Herts' Stone Valley Festival South has been postponed until next year as a result of the coronavirus crisis.
The Northern Soul, Mod, ska and punk music celebration was originally set to return to Great Amwell from Friday, May 22 to Sunday, May 24, leaving revellers to recover on the Whitsun bank holiday Monday.
When lockdown made that impossible, the team behind the well-established Stone Valley North brand postponed the festival to the bank holiday weekend of August 28 to 30.
Now that date too has fallen by the wayside and the event will take place from May 28 to 30 next year at Pepper Hill Farm.
A spokesman said: "We're really proud of SVF South and we know the SVF crowd love it too. We intend to make Stone Valley Festival South III rescheduled to 2021 the biggest and best yet."
The organisers have already rebooked the headliners and support acts who were set to top the bill this year including The Boomtown Rats, The Undertones, Happy Mondays, Neville Staple Band, The Farm, The Dualers, The Selecter, From the Jam and Bad Manners.
