Bishop’s Stortford Art Society member Izabella Taylor on her love of colour

A series highlighting the talents of members of Bishop’s Stortford Art Society. This week: Izabella Taylor on her love of colour.

I am a self-taught artist who loves taking inspiration from nature, wildlife and plants that can be expressed in an abstract way.

I should say that colours are my favourite thing to express myself through.

Colours bring energy and joy into my life and hopefully other people can be touched by it too.

Bishop’s Stortford Art Society meets at Thorn Grove Primary School two Thursday evenings a month during term time.

Membership is £20 (£35 for couples) for a year. You just have to be 18 or over and enjoy being creative – all abilities are welcome. Email stortfordartsociety@outlook.com for details.
