Dress up as a king or queen and take part in your own coronation with a half-term week of fun activities for families at Audley End House and Gardens
Young visitors to Audley End this half term can be a king or queen for the day with a host of royal-themed activities to enjoy.
Following the coronation of King Charles III, English Heritage sites across the East of England will be putting on a week of royally good activities and fresh air fun with the country estate near Saffron Walden one of those taking part.
From Saturday May 27-Sunday June 4, families visiting Audley End House and Gardens can dress up in royal robes and a crown for their own coronation, learn about kings and queens from history through the house’s coin collection and enjoy stories from the past.
Karl Goodwin, Assistant Events Manager English Heritage, said: “We’re delighted to welcome members and visitors to our sites for the half-term holidays for what is shaping up to be a fantastic week, made extra-special by our coronation inspired activities. There will be plenty to see and do for all ages. You’ll be spoilt for choice for excellent days out in the East of England!”
