Bishop’s Stortford Acoustic Club 6 Act x 4 Song show at South Mill Arts on Thursday April 18
Get along to South Mill Arts for Bishop’s Stortford Acoustic Club’s latest 6 Act x 4 Song show on Thursday April 18.
On the bill are Martin Day, DnA, Ali Cossor & Brian Harvey, Paul Booth & Si & Verna, Sky West and Runaway Jukebox.
Martin Day has a unique style and has played at the club many times in the past. His rousing vocals with his back beat makes him a crowd favourite, wherever and whenever he performs.
Ali Cossor and Dave Oxley, both well-known and respected performers, make up DnA. They have a wealth of musical history and talent and their close harmonies, accompanied by Ali’s keyboard skills, mean they produce an intelligent and delightful sound.
Ali will also be performing with fellow Sky West band member Brian Harvey. The former tends to write from life experience and from her imagination whilst the latter writes from a more concerned and serious standpoint, resulting in some fine original music.
The trio of Paul Booth & Si & Verna are a delight and fellow three-piece Runaway Jukebox perform mainly covers with fine musicianship and excellent harmonies.
Doors open at 7.30pm and music starts at 8pm. Entry is £7. Book in advance at southmillarts.co.uk to ensure a seat. There will be the option to pay £7, cash or card, on the door on the night.
