Bishop's Stortford Acoustic Club featuring Tom Ryder, Laura Dannan, Anna Wells and Alice Walker
Talented local songsmith Tom Ryder will climb into the MC's saddle at Bishop's Stortford Acoustic Club's session next Wednesday (August 3).
Tom, founder of Stortford-based mental wellbeing charity Retune and a member of bands The Kazans, KOasis and The Retuners, steps in for usual compere Bill Tarran, who is away marshalling at cycling events at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Tom will be one of six acts performing four songs each. He will open proceedings and be followed by five other local musicians: Laura Dannan, Anna Wells, Paul Booth & Si, Alice Walker and Indie Herts in what club organiser Geoff White called "an excellent and diverse line-up".
The club meets in the Long Room at the back of The Horn at the Half Moon in North Street. Doors open at 8pm and music starts at 8.30pm. Admission is £5 cash on the door.
