Bishop's Stortford Acoustic Club: Linda Moylan, Geoff Carne, Mark Gamon, Tom Ryder, Cider at Yours and Terry Hiscock
Fans of acoustic music will get their money's worth as six acts will perform four songs each at The Horn at the Half Moon on Wednesday (Nov 24).
The back room at the North Street music pub will once again be hosting the monthly session of the Bishop's Stortford Acoustic Club.
November's line-up is Linda Moylan (accompanied by Del Halpin and Ian Montague from Crayon Angels), Geoff Carne, Mark Gamon, Tom Ryder, Cider at Yours and Terry Hiscock.
Singer-songwriter Tom Ryder fronts Bishop's Stortford four-piece The Kazans and their tribute band KOasis, and is the founder of Retune, the charity that promotes mental wellbeing in children and adults through the creative arts, especially music, visiting schools, hospitals and prison and staging regular gigs at the Horn at the Half Moon.
Cider at Yours are a Stortford duo consisting of singer Becky Faulkner, who lives in Thorley Park, and guitarist Richard Pink, of St Michael's Mead. The pair are also members of the town's Water Lane amateur dramatics group and musical theatre company.
They will be performing Richard's self-penned At Least I'll Know, Nanci Griffith's Late Night Grande Hotel, Girl Crush by Little Big Town and Rascal Flatts' Bless the Broken Road.
Doors open at 8.30pm and the music starts at 9pm. Admission is £5 cash on the door – which equates to less than 21p a song!
