The second day of Standon Calling – the boutique music festival on Bishop's Stortford's rural doorstep – featured multiple Brit Award nominee and TV's The Voice UK coach Anne-Marie, girl group Sugababes, rapper Example and Sam "Space Man" Ryder, who finished second for the UK in this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
They were supported on the main stage by Sam Tompkins, Australian indie rock singer Azure Ryder, Somebody's Child and Kings Elliott.
On the Laundry Meadows second stage, Nottingham electro-punk duo Sleaford Mods topped a bill that also included Wakefield indie rock The Cribs – consisting of Jarman twins Gary and Ryan and their younger brother Ross – Leeds indie rock band Yard Act, Billy Nomates, Crawlers, Lynks, English Teacher, High School and the superbly-titled Bored At My Grandma's House.
And Bishop's Stortford DJ Kelly Rose – aka DJ Digital Pocahontas – continued to live her dream with a set in the chill-out space Beefy Melons.
