Red Kite: Bishop’s Stortford-based charity supporting rape and sexual abuse victims to host quiz night fundraiser at The Bishop’s Cave

A Bishop’s Stortford-based charity which offers support for rape and sexual abuse victims is holding a fundraising quiz night.

Red Kite will host the event at The Bishop’s Cave in North Street on Wednesday July 24 from 7pm for tables of up to six people.

A spokesperson for the charity said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together, have some laughs and raise vital funds for Red Kite’s vital services.

“All proceeds will go directly towards supporting survivors through counselling, advocacy and outreach programmes.”

It is seeking donations of prizes for the winning team and the raffle, and has appealed to businesses in the town to lend their support. “We’re seeking donations of a variety of prizes, such as gift certificates for your shop, merchandise or any other items,” said the spokesperon.
