KBD Dance Summer Show: Bishop's Stortford dance school pupils to return to stage at South Mill Arts in July

Pupils of a Bishop's Stortford dance school will return to the stage this summer after a two-year absence.

Performers aged 4 to 22 from KBD Dance will be showcasing their talents at South Mill Arts on Sunday July 4 in an hour-long show that starts at 5pm.

Proprietor Katie Barker-Dale said that it had been a "very stop-start" year due to the coronavirus pandemic and that students were eager to perform again.

"It will be our first show back in two years due to Covid so it will be a very special moment for us and all of our students, who are desperate to get back on stage again," she said.

"Because it's been very stop-start this past year we're now rushing to get it all together, but it will be of a good standard featuring commercial and street dance, comtemporary, hip hop for the little ones and an hour show in full costume.

"It will be a full production showcasing everything that the students have been up to over the last year."

Katie added: "They're all so excited as it's been such a horrible year for them all, so we're really looking forward to it."
