Bishop’s Stortford singer Sara Feldmann Brummer to perform with Sabra Swing at South Mill Arts




Bishop’s Stortford resident Sara Feldmann Brummer, the vocalist with internationally acclaimed jazz ensemble Sabra Swing, will perform at South Mill Arts in October.

The professional singer will be joined by violinist Miriam Kramer, known for her passionate and fiery performances, and pianist Nicholas Durcan, who has played around the world to great acclaim.

Soprano Sara, whose repertoire embraces genres from cabaret to classical, will perform The Hollywood Songbook for the Live Lounge gig on Thursday October 17, from 7.30pm.

Sara said the audience can expect hits from the golden age of the silver screen including I Got Rhythm, from 1943 movie An American in Paris, and My Funny Valentine from Babes In Arms (1939), starring Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney.

There will also be tracks from movie musical favourites like West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Kiss Me Kate and songs from more recent films La La Land and Kinky Boots.
