The Exile Club and Roxy Searle are performing at Bishop’s Stortford Acoustic Club’s Special Night show on Thursday December 7.
The former will play two 40-minute sets while the latter will get the evening under way with a 30-minute slot at The Half Moon in North Street.
The Exile Club are a five-piece roots band, fusing rock, soul, blues and country to form a distinctly British take on classic Americana.
The five professional session musicians have toured to all four corners of the globe and are bound together by a serendipitous meeting at the crossroads of their own respective musical journeys.
Their songwriting blends a cocktail of styles and sentiment into a melting pot that pays homage to the heroes of the past, whilst keeping their sights firmly fixed on a brave and bright future.
Hertfordshire singer-songwriter Searle’s infectious and captivating music is earning her a growing reputation.
She studied at the North Hertfordshire Music Academy for two years and is focused on writing and performing her own material.
Doors open at 8pm and music starts at 8.30pm. Entry is £8 cash on the door.
