Pick pumpkins, enjoy immersive experiences and listen to live music this Hallowe’en at Cammas Hall Farm Pumpkin Patch
Fiendishly fabulous family fun and scarily spectacular thrills and spills add up to a Hallowe’en to die for at Cammas Hall.
The award-winning pick-your-own farm in Hatfield Broad Oak’s Pumpkin Patch is open now to trick and treat people of all ages looking for a gruesomely good day or evening out.
Whether it’s picking the perfect pumpkin, giving yourself a fright on an immersive walk or enjoying live music from some Dead Legends, there is something for everyone until Sunday October 29.
Now in its eighth year, the Pumpkin Patch has grown to be one of the biggest Hallowe’en experiences in the area.
And this year sees the arrival of its largest pumpkin structure built to date - the Pumpcano - which, standing at almost seven metres tall, alerts visitors to impending eruption with a long, deep rumble.
The Pumpcano sits in a pumpkin patch furnished with more than 50 varieties of pumpkin of all colours and sizes alongside a wide selection of edible and ornamental squash. There are plenty of seasonal treats to enjoy on site and free recipe cards are available to pick up in the farm shop for those that want to get the most out of their produce.
Visitors can also venture down the Wicked Walkways (family friendly) or the Terror Tunnels (super-brave only) and interact with the Hallowe’en characters along the way.
Other activities include the Hallowe’en Maize Maze, a Monster Mayhem children’s show and footgolf.
Those who prefer an even spookier experience can visit the farm after dark on one of eight Cammas Resurrected nights and brave the tunnels in darkness. Who will be lurking in the shadows?
And you can enjoy live music in the patch with tribute acts including Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, Tina Turner and Whitney Houston all performing.
“The staff have worked incredibly hard this year to take the Cammas Hall Hallowe’en experience to yet another level,” said farmer Jonathan Lukies.
“I am proud of what we have achieved and I am confident that we now offer one of the best pumpkin patches in the country.”
Tickets for the Hallowe’en Pumpkin Patch cost £4-£6 per person and tickets for the Cammas Resurrected nights cost £7-£9.50 per person. Hallowe’en Maize Maze, footgolf and Monster Mayhem shows are available for an additional charge. See www.cammashall.co.uk for more information including full details on the live music schedule.
