Manuden Open Gardens and classic car show set to delight visitors on June 16
Manuden Open Gardens returns on Sunday June 16 with an accompanying classic and sports car show.
Visitors can enjoy exploring 15 of the Essex village’s beautiful gardens, with some new ones opening their gates for the first time.
A display of around 20 cars will be held at Manuden Village Community Centre in David Collins Drive, from where refreshments will be served and a stall will be selling plants.
Spokesperson Jane Tresadern said: “A great selection of gardens – large and small, cottage-style and more formal – will be open in and around the village. The gardens this year include both new gardens and older ones that have never opened before.
“The Bishop’s Stortford Bee Keepers’ Association will display their skills at the art of beekeeping in one of the gardens.”
The event runs from 2pm to 6pm. Entrance is £5 per person, children free, with proceeds going to village clubs and societies.
Wristband tickets and programmes with a map of the gardens on show will be available from the community centre, where there is ample parking for visitors. For more details visit www.manuden.org.uk/Manuden-Open-Gardens.asp
