Sol Bernstein, Aaron Simmonds, Andre Vincent and Paddy Lennox at Great Dunmow Comedy Club on Friday February 3

"The world's oldest living Jewish comedian" is headlining at Great Dunmow Comedy Club on Friday February 3.

Sol Bernstein will be joined by Aaron Simmonds, Andre Vincent and host Paddy Lennox at the Foakes Hall.

Bernstein - the comic creation of Steve Jameson - will be reflecting on his exemplary life doing legendary things.

Listen to his tales of the high life with the biggest names in showbiz, musings on how the world has changed and his experiences of being an ordinary Jew with world-beating wit, unbounded talent and death-defying chutzpah.

Simmonds will get you laughing with his story-based comedy interspersed with clever one-liners.

He offers sharply-observed comedy which is grounded in his disability, but is by no means limited by it.

Vincent is one of those rare entertainers who does it all - comedian, actor, writer, director, presenter, singer, circus boy…

Trained as a clown, he started travelling the world appearing at circus and theatre festivals as busker 'Arry Pavarotti.

Doors open at 7.30pm and the comedy gets under way at 8.30pm. There will be hot food and a full bar. See dunmowcomedy.co.uk to buy tickets, priced at £17, and for more details.
